Emeline (WEAVER) CARTER was born 1931 in North Carolina. She settled in Marshall county, Illinois, around 1852 and lived the rest of her life there. She died in 1919.
Isaac "Ike" Calvin CARTER was born in Spring Bay, Woodford, Illinois, on Feb 14, 1863. He lived in the Marshall County area all his life. He was killed in a fire in Sparland, Marshall County, Illinois, on Feb 22, 1939 with his brother, Billy.
William Harrison CARTER was born in Bloomington, Monroe Co. Indiana in 1831. He moved to Marshall County, Illinois, area around 1852 and lived the rest of his life there. He died in 1909.
William O. "Billy" CARTER was born in Spring Bay, Woodford County, Illinois. Parents were William & Emeline (WEAVER) CARTER. Billy lived his entire life in the Lacon area. He was killed in a fire in Sparland, Marshall County, Illinois, with his brother, Isaac, on Feb. 22, 1939.
Elizabeth (ELLETT) WEAVER was born October 25, 1825 in Patrick County, Virginia. She was the second wife of Isaac WEAVER. She died in Lacon, Richland Township, Marshall County, Illinois, on December, 26, 1899. Although there is a headstone, she may have been buried elsewhere.
Emma Letitia (MOTLEY) WEAVER was born in Ashe County, North Carolina, sometime around 1812-1820. She was the first wife of Isaac WEAVER. She died before 1847, not sure where, but she has a stone by her husband, Isaac, in the New Salem cemetery.
Isaac A. WEAVER was born in Ashe County, North Carolina, on April 27, 1811. He moved to the Marshall County, Illinois, area around 1852 with his daughter and son-in-law's family (CARTER). He died May 6, 1886, in Lacon, Richland Township, Marshall County, Illinois.
